Achieving Success
With Mind Power

Achieving success is the direct result of applied mind power

You can have it all because you're a living miracle, biologically hard-wired to live a happy, successful, and fulfilling life.

If you're not yet living the life of your dreams, it's because there is something you need to know. By the time you've read this page, you'll have discovered the secrets to success that may have eluded you all these years.

Here's your first clue: Earl Nightingale once said that the only difference between a man and a horse or pig is his brain.

Like most people, you may have unintentionally used your magnificent brain to limit yourself to the extreme, but once you understand how the entire thread of evolution has blessed you beyond your wildest imagination, I hope you'll take a different view.

The sponge between your ears is the biological equivalent of a transonic jet fighter aircraft like the F-86 Sabre. Sadly, like most people you may have mistaken it for a bicycle.

Instead of assigning it to mission-critical targets that could transform your life beyond belief, you sent it on away missions to the grocery store to buy a gallon of milk. Instead of soaring through the heavens in a silver streak, you peddled around the neighborhood on a bicycle.

While you may not have fully appreciated your brain, here's a quick overview by Carl Sagan on your magnificent brain is specifically designed by evolution for achieving success.

The Evolutionary Organ For Achieving Success

How You're Hard Wired For Achieving Success

Your brain, the most complex biological structure in the universe, is the ultimate GPS system for navigating through your life.

At only three pounds, your brain represents only 2% of your body weight, but it consumes 15% of your cardiac output, 20% of your oxygen supply, and 25% of your glucose reserves.Your brain has 100 billion neurons, nerve cells responsible for brain communication. The outer mantle, the cerebral cortex, contains about 30 billion neurons. Interspersed among the neurons in even greater numbers are glia cells, providing support and protection for the neurons.

The neurons are linked to each other with a million billion connections called synapses. According to Gerald Edelman, a neuroscientist who has won a Nobel Prize, it would take 32 million years to count them all, counting at the rate of one synapse per second. A microscope focused on a cubic millimeter of your cerebral cortex would reveal about one billion synapses.

These neurons relay messages to each other at tremendous speeds through axons, long, protoplasmic fibers wrapped in a thick sheath of a super-conducting fatty substance called myelin. Bundled together in nerve fiber tracts, each axon averages around 150,000 km and fills most of the space of your brain. The number of possible connections or circuits within the brain is 10 followed by a million zeros. In contrast, the number of particles in the universe is ten followed by seventy-nine zeros.

How You're Smarter Than A Supercomputer

Your brain is far smarter than the computer you're using right now to read this information. In fact, your brain is even smarter than a supercomputer.

Although both your brain and your computer store and process information, they do it in different ways.

Information in your computer, processed by a small set of “registers” that operate at billions of cycles per second, is represented by electronic circuits denoted as 0 and 1.

Information in your brain, simultaneously processed by billions of neurons at 100 cycles per second, is represented dynamically by trains of action potentials in neurons and statically by strengths of synaptic connections between neurons.

The reason computers do appear smarter is because they do one thing better: they crunch huge numbers quickly. We are not biologically wired to add pairs of hundred digit numbers rapidly.

Now just to give you a frame of reference on how smart a supercomputer can be let's look at the IBM Roadrunner.

Since May 2008, the $133 million IBM Roadrunner, located at Los Alamos, New Mexico, has held the record as the fastest computer in the world. On May 25th, 2008, it achieved a speed of 1,026 petaflops. (A FLOP is an acronym for Floating Point Operations Per Second. A peta makes a giga look like a crawl. It is 10 to the power of 15.)

It's mind boggling how many instructions per second are processed by the IBM Roadrunner.

Yet your brain is superior to this supercomputer.

Your brain is better at object recognition. The best computers find it difficult to recognize a photograph; your brain does it instantly.

It is superior because it has three engineering features that would make the IBM Roadrunner burn with envy if it were conscious of emotion. These triple elements are the microscopic size of the processing equipment, the three dimensional connections, and the metabolic self-sufficiency of each neuron.

Your Peak Performance Software
For Achieving Success

So far we've only looked at the hardware. If you're beginning to understand how well-equipped your brain is to handle any issue in your life, wait until you get a glimpse of the software.

If your brain is the hardware of your biocomputer, your mind is its software.

You get not one but three operating systems. Structured hierarchically, these parallel systems work in perfect synchronization, with each level exponentially magnifying its capacity to manipulate mission-critical data.

In short order: The Conscious Mind, The Subconscious Mind, and the Superconscious Mind.

The Conscious Mind is amazing, The Subconscious Mind is astonishing, and the Superconscious Mind is incomprehensible.

Your Subconscious Mind is processing trillions of complex cellular functions every second and remembering every instance of your life while you're reading this page and translating black squiggles against a gray background demonstrates the power of your Subconscious Mind.

Yet even the genius of your astonishing Subconscious Mind fades in comparison to the information organizing capacity of your Superconscious Mind. The computational efficiency to organize a synchronicity is incomprehensible.

For example, In his book Synchronicity (1952), Carl Jung describes a moment of synchronicity:

"A young woman I was treating had, at a critical moment, a dream in which she was given a golden scarab. While she was telling me this dream, I sat with my back to the closed window. Suddenly I heard a noise behind me, like a gentle tapping. I turned round and saw a flying insect knocking against the window-pane from the outside. I opened the window and caught the creature in the air as it flew in. It was the nearest analogy to a golden scarab one finds in our latitudes, a scarabaeid beetle, the common rose-chafer (Cetonia aurata), which, contrary to its usual habits had evidently felt the urge to get into a dark room at this particular moment. I must admit that nothing like it ever happened to me before or since."

His patient, a highly intelligent but rigidly logical woman, was so astonished that she instantly accepted his esoteric theories and finally began the process of psychological healing.

Carl Jung concluded: "When coincidences pile up in this way, one cannot help being impressed by them -- for the greater the number of terms in such a series, or the more unusual its character, the more improbable it becomes."

Let us now take a look at how these bewildering levels of intelligence synchronize to create the opportunities in your life.

Achieving Success With Your Conscious Mind

Your Conscious Mind helps you discover where you are and where you want to go, envision who you are and who you want to be, plan on how to go from here to there, and track your progress to be accountable, self-managing, and self-renewing.

Your Conscious Mind operates at peak performance for achieving success when you direct it...

1. To find a deeply meaningful purpose.2. To align your time and energy to streamline with your purpose.3. To rapidly learn new skills to fulfill your purpose.

Achieving Success With Your Subconscious Mind

Your Subconscious Mind is a perfect database that records every experience you have ever had in your life. It is a cybernetic servomechanism. While it cannot reason, it can produce genius-level thinking for achieving success.

Many breakthrough ideas appear to have been due to insights bubbling up from the deep reservoir of the Subconscious Mind.

Friedrich August Kekule von Stradonitz, a German organic chemist was the principle founder of the theory of chemical structure and one of the most prominent chemists in Europe.

After exhaustive but futile thinking about a chemistry problem, he fell asleep in front of a fireplace. He dreamed about entangled snakes swallowing their own tails. This revealed the structure of the benzene ring and his discovery became the basis of organic chemistry.

Elias Howe,, an American inventor and sewing machine pioneer, puzzled over where to place the eye of the needle in his machine.

One night, he dreamed about cannibals. While being boiled alive in a giant pot, he noticed that the spears appeared to have holes near the heads. He chose to design his needles with holes near the heads.

Nikola Tesla, an inventor and a mechanical and electrical engineer, may have been the greatest electrical scientist that ever lived.

Many electrical breakthroughs can be traced back to his spontaneous visualizations. He perfected machines in his mind’s eye before he created them in his laboratory. He pioneered wireless energy transfer to wireless electronic devices and contributed to robotics, remote control, radar, computer science, ballistics, nuclear physics, and theoretical physics. The SI unit measuring magnetic flux density was named in his honor.

Albert Einstein, best known for his theory of relativity and specifically mass–energy equivalence, expressed by the equation E = mc2, won the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics “for his services to Theoretical Physics, and especially for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect.”

As a boy he daydreamed about a “train ride on a beam of light”. When he grew up, this daydream translated into his discovery of the theory of relativity; a discovery so astonishing that it not only remade the whole of physics but also the whole of science.

Your Subconscious Mind operates at peak performance for achieving success when you direct it...

1. To actualize your goals.

2. To heal your past.

3. To vivify empowering beliefs.

Achieving Success With Your Superconscious Mind

Your Superconscious Mind operates on a mystical level. It speeds up your personal evolution through the Law of Attraction. It is Eastern mysticism that originated our current view of how a focused thought can manifest a desire.

The Law of Attraction is first described in eidetic detail by Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita. The thematic brilliance of the concept that thoughts influence reality is first recounted in the story of the Sanskrit Kalpataru, the Wish-fulfilling Tree. Incidentally, this ideas was paralleled in occidental mythology by the Norse Yggdrasill, the Tree of Life.

Beyond the analogy created by the ancient philosophers about a tree rooted in the heavens whose branches fan the cosmos, the study of Quantum Mechanics gives us a scientific basis for the Law of Attraction.

Your Conscious Mind operates at peak performance for achieving success when you direct it...

1. To attract your best friends and relationships.

2. To attract your ideal work and income.

3. To attract vibrant health and well-being.
