Three Steps To Focus Your Mind On Maximum Success
When you focus on success, you’ll achieve it--because you’re an expression of divine magnificence. Success is the wonderful state of being consistent in well-doing--whether it is in the earthly realm of finances, relationship, or physical well-being or whether it is in the spiritual realm of loving-kindness, contribution, and positive living. Success, in anything that interests you, is your birthright, and you can achieve it by focusing your mind on what you desire to happen in your life. The trick to success is how you focus. When your attention aligns with your intention, you will be successful. Unfortunately, by default, many of us pay attention to what we don’t want, and we get the result of that effort, namely more of what we don’t want. We do this because the mind likes to solve problems. It is not interested in what is working, only in what is not working. However, the Universe likes to manifest what the mind focuses on. Unless you can train yourself to only be mindful of those things that you want to attract into your life, you will keep aggravating problems because of your interest in them. Think of it this way: your mind is a focusing instrument and what you pay attention to will maximize in your life and what you don’t pay attention to will minimize in your life. Your question should always be: “What am I paying attention to this moment, and is it something I want to maximize or minimize in my experience?” How you manage your attention is how you manage your life. The energy of manifestation goes where your attention flows. Your inner cosmology is your harmonizing system. If you want joy, harmony, peace, and prosperity, you should work on harmonizing with those feelings and experiences. Your future can be luminous. It can be lavish. It can be laden with abundance. All you have to do is to allow wonderful things to happen. As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, “We lie in the lap of immense intelligence which makes us organs of its activity and receivers of its Truth.” The consciousness you are most receptive to experiencing is the consciousness that you express. There are three steps to changing your life from the negative to the positive, three steps to resolve any chaos in your life. 1. Establish order within by confronting, rather than avoiding, what bothers you, making a list of everything in your life situation that is upsetting you. 2. Now that you have identified and detailed all the things that are not working for you, shift your attention and focus on all the harmony you would like to enjoy in your life. 3. Begin to live in a world of new possibilities, praising what is to come, visualizing your ideal scene, and showing gratitude for all that you have already received. Here is how you can apply these three steps and create success in anything you desire to experience: Suppose your project, the thing you want to be successful in, is to change how you feel about your life. You decide you want to be successful in attaining inner calm and spontaneous happiness. Your first step may be to notice all the anger, impatience, and aggravation you feel in relation to other people and the world. Once you acknowledge these, you’ll also notice how they distance you from feeling any peace and joy. Your second step may be to concentrate on all the harmonious things you would like to experience. Perhaps you want to focus on your deeper potentiality to be a clear channel for love and lighthearted living. Your third step may be to think about new possibilities, augmenting them through your words, your images, and your feelings. Some of these possibilities may include: being there for other people when they need you, showing acts of kindness without attachment to outcomes, encouraging others to launch their wildest dreams, and living with unconditional generosity. Regardless of your dreams for a better life, you can succeed in anything you desire. This three step process will maximize the moment, drawing into it all the things you want to experience and it will minimize all the things you no longer want to experience.
