Changing The Universe,
One Local Universe At A Time

You, as human being, are a biological instrument of exquisite ingenuity. Inherent in this instrument are two sensors, your heart and your mind. Your heart is not merely an organ, it is an emotional, intuitive sensor. Your mind is not merely a brain, it is an information-sorting sensor. Both instruments can be infinitely refined. Animating all of you is a soul, an invisible, eternal presence that reflects through your body and conditioned mind as a personality.

Life is the process of refining these sensors, making them increasingly acute. Your mind learns to understand more and your heart learns to love more--at least, this is the grand design. This process is called evolution, a perpetual expansion of awareness.

Evolution happens because you permeate a local universe. This shapes you, either for better or worse.

Your local universe consists of the scenes you walk through during your days and nights.

When you’re alone, you define this scene completely. When you’re with other people, you’re living in a composite scene, where each contributes to the vibrations of the unfolding events, adding or diminishing value to all dimensions of consciousness.

Geographical shifts and the influence of other people, whether positive or negative, whether vicariously or in person, affect your local universe. These, in turn, create internal shifts in your perception of time, space, and destiny.

Your local universe can be the portal that invites higher vibrations, stepping up the visions in your mind and the receptivity of your heart. Often, however, your local universe tends to be a place that invites the monotonous hum of mundane events.

You are at once caught up in one of two realms: the realm of your psychological and biological imprinting, the patterns of your physical form trapped in a social matrix; and the realm of your nature as a soul in communion with intelligence beyond three-dimensional existence, an intelligence referred to as a higher self.

Which realm you choose to experience in any particular time depends on your relationship to your local universe. If your local universe is a place of self-reliance, you’ll reflect your soul essence; and if it’s a place of dependency on others for your well-being, you’ll reflect your personality.

Your perception of your local universe defines how much you allow yourself to truly feel alive, able, and active. The struggle of every human being is whether to believe in the confining world of social codes or the liberating space of the unified field of consciousness. One is a place of scarcity and habitual suffering, the other of abundance and spontaneous joy. The personality inhabits the world; the soul, the unlimited dimensions.

A fog separates the personality from the soul, the mask of form overshadows the light of formless consciousness. Lifting this fog comes by conscientiously working on attuning to your inner being, living a heart-centered life. When you can do this, you not only maintain the coherence of your personal frequency despite the impact of the composite scene but you’re also open to spontaneity, intuition, and knowing the truth in you and before you.

Trusting your inner self in this way frees you from allegiance to any referential shadows arising from the conditioning of your mind, projections from unquestioned paradigms. Access to the inner self raises the intelligence of the mind and the loving-kindness latent in the heart. If this power is allowed to grow in your local universe, it will begin to permeate the composite scene and invent new ways of living in harmony and plenty.
